Dr Kataria was born and raised in Mumbai, India. She moved to California in 2004. She completed her undergraduate education at California State University, Sacramento.   She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2011. She met her husband in dental school and then moved with him while he pursued further studies. After 7 years they were delighted to move back to California and settle in the East Bay. While practicing dentistry for 10 years, Dr Kataria has taken extensive continuing education courses in Cosmetic Dentistry and Invisalign treatment. In 2020 she established Vallejo Family Dentistry to continue the legacies of Dr Gordon and Dr Bristow.

Dr Kataria has two children Neil and Arya. On her days off she likes to spend time with her family and friends.
